Alumnae Hall, home of the Ruth Nagel Jones Theatre and the
Barstow Stage, will be undergoing a complete renovation in 08/09
immediately following The Winter’s Tale. All Wellesley Theatre
productions will be performed at Schneider Hall. Show dates are
subject to change due to construction constraints.  
By Car  From the West:  Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 14 (Weston). Take Interstate 95/Route 128 South for 1/2 mile to Exit 21B (Route 16). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College. Make your first available right. On your left will be the construction site for the Wang Campus Center. Make your first available right to enter the parking facility. Alumnae Hall will be located directly across from the Davis Parking Facility. Park here and follow the signs to the Ruth Nagel Jones Theatre located inside Alumnae Hall.  From the East:  Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) to Exit 16 (West Newton). Follow Route 16 West for 4.7 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College. Make your first available right. On your left will be the construction site for the Wang Campus Center. Make your first available right to enter the parking facility. Alumnae Hall will be located directly across from the Davis Parking Facility. Park here and follow the signs to the Ruth Nagel Jones Theatre located inside Alumnae Hall.  From the North:  Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) South to Exit 21B (Route 16 West). By Public Transportation:  From South Station, take the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail to the Wellesley Square stop. The commute is approximately 40 minutes. One-way fare is $3.75 and is you should buy the ticket in South Station, since there is $1 surcharge for purchasing tickets on the train. Exact change is not required.  When you get off the train, go up the stairs and turn left onto Crest Road; follow Crest a short distance. Take a right onto Central Street (there is a Pete's Coffee on your right). Walk five minutes to the second set of lights. Cross the street to the entrance of the College. Keeping the campus on your left, continue walking on Central Street until you get to the next set of lights, and the motor entrance to the College. Turn left into the college, and then you will take your first right which will take you to Alumnae Hall. Allow 30 minutes to walk from the train to the theatre.  Note: The Commuter Rail schedule can be accessed by calling (617) 222-3200. Please call ahead when making travel plans; the schedule varies on weekends and holidays. You may also take the Commuter Rail to Wellesley from Back Bay Station. 
OR  From South Station, take the MBTA Subway (Red Line) Inbound two stops to Park Street. Go upstairs and change to the Green Line. Ride an Outbound subway marked "RIVERSIDE-D" to Woodland, the second to last stop on the D Line. Fare is $1.25) At Woodland you can take a cab to the college, and follow the above directions to Alumnae Hall. The taxi ride will be $20-25.
